Where Are Your Thoughts?

Where Are Your Thoughts?

Where are your thoughts today? Are they helping you? If you focus on what you don't have you will draw more of it to you...focus on what you desire and do it like you already possess it. Isn't it interesting that it is so easy for us to dwell on negative things we don't want and more of a challenge to dwell on what we desire?  Be like an actor or actress and move into the role you choose. Imagine - believe it before you can see it. If you can think it then you already have it on that level. Keep going.

The Bible says it all. All of this comes right from the Bible, can you imagine. (say yes). ahahaha. Did I loose ya? Stay with me here.

I'm going out to help someone deliver food today for a while. Come and deal with my paper clutter Pllllllleeeeeeasssssseee. Yes, it needs more help.

We can control our thoughts. When you sit down to meditate -- you have to keep bringing your mind back to where you want it. The mind is slippery. Sometimes I'm not even aware that it gets away. THAT'S pretty slippery.

We have to decide on what to focus on and work it baby, work it. Did you check out the video of Eckhart Tolle. I mean even his name speaks of mysteries of the Universe. You can watch him here.  He is fascinating so let yourself get into it. Subtle yet effective. Like a great cup of coffee. Kooooffeeeee.

What you worry about is renting too much time in your brain. It takes too much energy. It takes the energy from what good things you could be focusing on and therefore drawing to you. What you focus on grows.

Thoughts Are Things - they have hearts and wings. Read that poem below by Henry Van Dyke. Powerful stuff. I love this poem. Thoughts are things!

Your mind can't hold two opposing thoughts at the same time. When you have thoughts of fear and worry you can't hold positive thoughts. To switch from negative to positive try this. Look at your blessings and acknowledge them, your mate, family, friends, kid, dog, cat or whatever and feel that gratitude of that in your life. I know it takes work, you can do it. Just do it. Make that decision.

You have to eat everyday

You have to eat everyday

It takes just as much faith to believe in the good as it does in believing in crap right?  Listen, we have to eat everyday.  We can't just eat once a week or every so often and say "Ok, I'm good". Unless you're a reptile. It is the same with this, you have to be consistent. Same with staying positive. Sometimes it feels like so much work, but you have to do it everyday. Then it becomes a habit. One that serves you. Once it becomes a habit you just do it without much thought - less effort. You can create a habit in about 21 days.

Ok, now say ahhhhhhhhhh, breathe more, breathe deeper, breathe again and connect to your own inner peace, it's there, take a moment and enjoy it.

Peace, love, joy,

Judith

Thoughts Are Things

I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies and breath and wings. And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill. That which we call our secret thought sppeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving its blessings or its woes like tracks behind it as it goes.

We build our future, thought by thought, for good or ill, yet know it not. Yet so the universe was wrought. Thought is another name for fate. Choose then thy destiny and wait, for love brings love and hate brings hate. ~Henry Van Dyke~
